"I recently moved here to Chiang Mai because, well I'm a digital nomad of course! I truly believed I lucked out when moving here. First and foremost, it is just a beautiful city with absolutely amazing people. But the reason I know I lucked out was for the place I am living. When searching for places to stay through this group as well as many other fourms, I took a chance and it paid off! I ended up choosing a place that has never been recommended. The reason being is because it just opened in February this year.

It is an amazing place in an fantastic location! It is located right next to Chiang Mai University. There is a wonderful night market one block away and of course there are about (3) 7-11s within walking distance! I know it is not in the square, but it's only a 70baht Grab ride to the square. Although, Maya is very close by (walking) and there are so many coffee shops to work at.

Personally, I work on the patio overlooking the pool at the apartment. Yeah!! There is a pool 👍My favorite restaurant you have to try even if you don't stay here is Art Roastery! INCREDIBLE. With that being said, the manager speaks fluent English and they are very nice and helpful. There is also a weight room that lets you get your basic workout in each morning as well.

The sunset over the mountains from your balcony should be be enough to sell you haha Overall, the place is very clean and comes completely stacked with bedding, cooking utensils and all the essentials. And the best part.. it's pretty darn cheap! Words can not describe how enthused and lucky I was to find this place, so that is why I had to share it with all of you!

"Amazing place, brand new. The apartment I've stayed at was sparkling clean, probably the first one in it. Really lovely staff, they showed me a couple of different units upon check-in, all for the same price. The highlight of the stay was really how home like it felt, modern and fully furnished including a small desk for doing some online work, kitchen, 5+ star bed, and great fitness, and swimming pool. Lastly, the wifi at Nivas Chiangmai is quick, no dropouts, even with hours-long Skype sessions (I'm a teacher)."

"A great option for families (but also couples) near the University, with a wonderful night market nearby with lots of delicious local food options, plus cool cafes, restaurants and bakeries. The apartments are modern, clean and include a kitchen which is great for breakfast or when you don't fee like going out for dinner. Maya shopping centre is a 10 minute walk from the apartment and the old town is a 5 minute taxi drive. Nice pool, and communal areas. Also good WiFi (free), free gym, free drinking water. Recommended for short or long stay.)."

“The hotel is suitable for both long and short term. I stayed for 2 nights and it was a very comfortable stay. The room is large, with wooden warm decoration, cool air conditioning, very clean, equipped with a nice pantry, large TV, beautiful mountain view in front and big trees in the back. All staff are very kind and friendly. It's like home away from home. Would definitely come back.."

“Stayed here for 3 years during the pandemic. Fantastic place, well equiped, well maintained, friendly and helpful staff. The swimming pool is also a great plus. Nearby you find a night market with lots of food options, 7 eleven shops and the main road where you easily can catch a red taxi to go anywhere. Anytime again.”
